The engine did not explode, dude. For reasons remaining to be identified, the engine experienced a 'blade-off' event. (The engine is not only intact in the video, it is also windmilling.) During such an event as the loss of a fan blade that is rotating at over 3,000 RPMs, the instant force of impact exerted on the fan case is north of 250 tons. The off-balance force that results is also tremendous and remains as a major constant of varying degrees of force until the fan is no longer rotating. The pieces that fell from the aircraft were parts that make up the 'nacelle', not parts from the engine. As for the fire that was visible from area on the side of the nacelle known as a 'cascade' (thrust reverser component used for vectoring redirected bypass air) while definitely nothing to dismiss or down-play as anything less than serious, was not an engine fire. The engine fire was extinguished by the internal on-board suppression system. Those flames that are visible across the cascade were fueled by hydraulic fluid. Again, any fire on an aircraft is serious. The ridiculousness ensues when the sensationalism begins...as is the case with this post.
He probably only said so because every news site says the same
0:43 Aerosource flight 157
What is the intro music pls
@[ Koichiku ] Supposedly that's where he gets his songs from
@Hemi Cuda i press it but it takes me into other website
It says in the description
If you have to blame someone, blame Pratt & Whitney
I subbed to you I’m your fan :D
This is just what was on the news, boring,I want to see the point of failure, ive seen the video of the turbo fan tested to destruction, nothing comes even close to that.......Next!!!!!

could have been a normal take-off as the TORA+Clearway=TODA
2:30 that one looks so cool, what is it
One day a plane exploded into ash over the Pacific Ocean, luckily no one was injured
Moral of the story? *Cameramans save lives!*
If it's Boeing, then you're surely dying! 😂😂😂
3:38 - I bet you cant land in that hill. -I can! -No you cant, you are too bad for doing this. -ok, lemme show you.
It is not often okay to clap on landing, but I will say that if your incident is on a Weekly Dose of Aviation it was ok to clap on that landing.
โบอิ้งสาย777
737MAX: Grounded 777: IGHT IMMA HEAD OUT

The 777 had a narrow escape... looking at the engine it seemed that it may detach anytime
The engine is turned off but it is still spinning it is called windmilling it is spinning by the wind
Whats the intro music name??
I know about this youtube channel... I came just to see u talking about it
Man featured main recording but forgot the a huge chunk of the engine actually landing in somebody’s front yard or the raining debris...
That's a whole truck load of nope
YES!!!
The pilot tried to enter light speed but the engines couldn't handle it
Boeing 727 still flying ???? I thought that they are all decommissioned!!!! If you are going to post current affairs, ie failed P&W 4000, you need to provide new information
I can’t wait to see a plane in the sky again .
🇸🇦 السلام عليكم 🇸🇦

It'll buff out.
Say the line lucaas "luckily, nobody was injured"
i saw the airplane 0:00. and i all so so the planes engine explode good thing nobody got hurt.
LOL at 2:35 , airports shutting down in London because "heavy" ( 1" ) snow
As an ex-frequent flyer tears came to my eyes when I saw that plane land with its engine blown ... That's not pretty when you're a passenger on that plane
Wow, I wasn't expecting this to be so recent!!!!
Shame on you! “Blow up” ? You claim to be an aviation content provider. A fan blade failed, a piece of witch sliced the inlet cowl. The inlet cowl departed the aircraft. Further resulting in the majority of the rest of the engine cowl departing the aircraft and falling to the ground in a populated area. Dramatic video shows the windmilling and shaking engine with a fire around the thrust reverser area. The aircraft landed safely. There were no known injuries. See, stick to the facts. It really is simple.
That stunt plane that washed it’s wings happened because he accidentally G-stalled, he basically whipped the plane’s nose up too fast while already having less lift, basically causing it to lose all airflow and smack into the wind, it feels like hitting a brick wall at seventy mph, then after that he just banked over and applied massive throttle, restarting the airflow and thus creating lift!
God that first clip, how many white people were on that plane for there to be that much applause.
Gee, by the time he finally gets airborne, he could have driven to Istanbul!
Lucaas I love your videos keep it up and look never give up when your falling down.
The engine didn’t blow up the engine cowling fell off is the engine blew up the wing would come off in the whole plane will exploded in mid air the cowling fell off.
And then it caught on fire
Another Boeing 777 had a similar problem overseas recently..raining debris on an inhabited area, some people were injured. Whole fleet is grounded. Considering their problems with another model it's a bad time to be investing in Boeing stock
Was the bank angle key west?
Could really have been a bummer if that flaming engine had come in contact with the fuel line at whole thing we’ve been blown to smithereens in mid air and those passages would’ve never felt a thing well they might’ve felt something for like 1000s of a second but then that would’ve been it! Very lucky the fuel didn’t come in contact with those flames or even the fumes from the fuel didn’t come in contact with those lamps that would’ve been it
I find it odd that these videos and Doug DeMuro have become the only things I search for anymore on YT. Not complaining, just odd lol. This series is by far one of my favorites.
good.wow.😁😁😁🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
God his voice man your voice is so bad
Hello
3:53 Saddest line of the video
1:00 for a second I thought that's an RC PLANE 😬😂LOL
Well trained pilot !!!
What's happening to boeing planes.... Always boeing , something is wrong somewhere
yeah I saw this on Twitter
It's pretty scary thinking about it. I was supposed to be on that United Flight but I forgot to set an alarm and missed it. Just goes to show that miracles happen.
Bruh💀 that’s not an explosion it’s an engine failure wdym
Don't worry guys, The A330 just wanted some water.
The most amazing thing I see of that engine is that it looks just like a boiler.
0:38 uhh isn't this that same airport where an overloaded plane just went straight through the fence, over the road, a few hundred yards more then crashed after managing to get in the air? Seems lessons may not have been learned.
A now i understand why the 777's discontinued... *Falls off*
IT'S OKAY THAT'S NORMAL
The mayday was called incorrectly it should be 3 times not 2
He happy when he said "Luckily Noone Was Injured
2:39 for a second there i didnt catch what lucas said and thought it was landing on an ocean
check your instagram inbox
Really scary!
Wanna panic during a flight.?...just imagine the only thing saving you from dying are those engines...
The B777 has a softer landing than every Ryanair flight
Imagine if this is what his voice actually sounded like..
Yo i saw the video (thumbnail) in the Philippines cuz im a filipino fan and we saw the united airlines just blowed up
oh god the engiNE ITS BROK3- oh, it return :) The plane was hurt
