  • Even though I'm a writer, no words can express what this song means to me - but I'll give it a go. Stop Crying Your Heart Out saved my life twice: the first time parked up by the train tracks, the second time sat in the dark on my bedroom floor with a pile of pills in my hand. I started medication to stabilise me, and I've been on it for a long time. My life has changed in that time, and now, this song has made me realise I'm ready to finally come off them. Thank you Oasis - and thank you Noel.

  • I once met Liam in the Steeles bar on Haverstock Hill (London, NW1), around the corner from where he lived at the time. He is nothing like the brash, arrogant character portrayed in the media. He was sitting on his own with a pint of Guinness. I introduced myself. Such a personable, kind, intelligent fella anyone is ever likely to meet.
